Swivel Secure Europe SA is the data controller responsible for determining how your personal information is collected, used, and stored during the recruitment process.

 

How We Handle Your Information


All the information you provide during the application process will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating your application and meeting any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

  •  No Third-Party Marketing:  We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Data Storage Locations: Your information will not be stored outside the European Union.
  • Data Security: Whether in electronic or physical form, your information will be securely stored. We use the contact details you provide to communicate with you about your application and the additional details you provide to assess your suitability for the role.

What Information Do We Collect, and Why?


We only collect the information necessary to achieve the purposes outlined and retain it for no longer than required. The information helps us evaluate your suitability for employment and is processed based on your request to take steps towards entering into an employment contract. You are not obligated to provide this information, but failing to do so may affect your application.
 

1.    Application Stage


At this stage, we will collect:

  •  Basic Information: Your name, address, phone number, and email address and CV.

  • Background Information: Details about your education, work history, references, and responses to role-specific questions.


This information will be accessible to our HR staff and hiring managers.
We may also request equal opportunities information (e.g., gender, ethnicity, disability status) for statistical and monitoring purposes. Providing this information is voluntary and will not impact your application. It will be anonymized and only accessible by the recruitment and HR teams.

2. Selection Stage


Shortlisted candidates will proceed to the selection process, which may include:
 

•    Assessment days
•    Tests or occupational personality profile questionnaires
•    Interviews (or a combination of the above)

 

Information will be generated by both you and us during this stage, such as completed tests or interview notes. This information will be securely retained.
If your application is unsuccessful, we may ask for your permission to keep your details in our talent pool for six months, allowing us to contact you about future opportunities.

 


Data Retention Periods


•    Unsuccessful Applications: Your information will be retained for six months after the recruitment campaign ends, including any notes or assessment records.
•    Equal Opportunities Data: Retained for six months after the campaign, regardless of application outcome.
•    Successful Applications: If successful, your information will be retained in accordance with our GDPR Policy for Employees, Workers, and Self-Employed, which will be shared with your offer letter.
